forms, these waters are ideal for nymph and dry

which is mainly a Salmon and Seatrout river. The
Seatrout start to run in May with the main run
in June and July. The Salmon start to run in August
with the main run in October/November. There is
also a good population of Brown Trout and Grayling.
There are 13 named pools, all within easy walking
distance of the caravan park. |

Loch
Ken
Set in the heart of the Ken /
Dee valley in Dumfries and Galloway,
south west Scotland. It is undoubtedly Scotland's
most prolific pike water with the emphasis on
large catches of hard fighting middleweight fish.
Historically some huge pike have been recorded
here, including the famous Kenmure pike caught
in 1798 reputed to have weighed 72lbs (32.7kg). |
